My honest opinion about SAO is that it was okayt. It had the action, the romance, and of course the cute little loli. What is so bad about it?
- Kirito is dense and never picks up on any of the girls' hints.
- Kirito is a pretty boy?
- Everyone's jealous of Kirito's harem.
- The anime just screwed up the novel.
- The sex scene that never happened.
- Not enough character development.
- Asuna went from strong to damsel-in-distress.
- "Main characters" that turned into supporting characters.
- The whole thing was rushed.
- People were annoyed by Yui's personality.
- People didn't like Kirito's OP-ness.
- People just wanted to hate because others hate.
I must admit that there are some reasons in there that I totally agree with, but the whole "f*ck you SAO" is really stupid and kind of disrespectful. People hate it because the anime annoyed them. Yes, the second arc sucked but the first one was somewhat decent. The hype created by loyal fans made the anime seem better than it really was. Who is to blame? Well that would be you, me, and the whole anime community because we made SAO something that it wasn't.
