Kanpani Girls REVIEW

After playing Kanpani Girls for a for weeks, I found this online game to be pretty entertaining despite. It includes a unique battle system as well as many different units you can choose.

The game contains a main storyline (still in the works) that is very simple. There is not much to be said about it. It's just a daily life of a company of mercenaries that go around helping others. They deal with personal problems, monster problems, and sometimes fight with rival companies. The main storyline can be followed by going through the main quests tab. There are also side quests where you can gather materials or learn backstories about each character you have in your catalog.

Characters can be recruited by clearing quests or through a gather system. You can also get them through special items. All characters from the storyline are recruitable so if there's a character you want that appears on the storyline, keep your eyes peeled. Characters are also ranked by stars. One star being the weakest and most common characters and six stars being the strongest and most rare characters. Also ALL CHARACTERS HAVE VOICE ACTING. Pretty cool right?

There are also many different facilities in the game. Each facility can give you different perks each time you upgrade them such as increasing your chances of getting higher star characters and getting new CEO skills.

CEO skills can be used during battle to buff your characters greatly. When I say "greatly" I mean super buffs. Tight situations can be averted just with a click of a button, but because if its OP-ness they don't last long so spend those CEO points wisely. The battle system is automatic. That means all you have to do it click on the quest and make important decisions during the quests. Other than that all you do is watch your henchwomen fight for you.

There are many other features in the game I would like to write about, but sadly there are too many things to write about such as the different things you can get in the game or all 149 characters you can get. (There are 149 characters as of December 2015) Anyways if your into cute anime girls this is the game for you!

Stella Glow REVIEW

I spent the past month playing Stella Glow almost everyday. I must say that I am pretty satisfied despite the English dub. I think Atlus in general does a really good job when it comes to dubbing games from Japan. Of course, it will never be just as good, but it's way better than the stuff you get from Four Kids right?

The game play is very similar to Fire Emblem, so if you're waiting for Fire Emblem: Fates start the warm up with this game; it will make the wait less painful! Similar to Fire Emblem: Awakening you can bond with other characters in the game. By bonding with more characters. more abilities can be unlocked making your game play more enjoyable. The whole game itself takes around two weeks to complete if you want to meet all the special requirements in every single battle. There is also a New Game+ after you beat the game which allows you to have more time bonding with your characters as well as more experience. Also if you're the type of person who loves to grind, this game will make sure that you will suffer while you do.

The story is really nice. When you start off, it lures you in then snatches you up like a fish. There are plot twists here are there and some of them require you to bond with certain characters to reveal.

The hardest part was to beat the third to the last boss (weird wording, but please bear with me here). The easiest boss in the game (as well as the longest boss battle in the game) was fight the true final boss. The boss battle itself was a complete joke. Once you know the pattern, it's only a matter of time before you beat it to a pulp. (Please keep in mind that I was trying to fulfill the special requirements!)

Speaking about special requirements, I might was well go over them. Basicly, special requirements make you battle harder, and then reward you with really great gear. That's about it. I also recommend getting all the red treasure chests you see during battle! (There is a brown one and a red one. The red ones give you really great stuff!)

So that's about it! In general, I think Stella Glow was a really great game. Though it was a little bit pricey I still had a great time playing it!

Makaku City Actors EXPLAINED

This is something I wrote on Animeshow.tv awhile back.

Genre:
Supernatural

I understood most of it by the end of the season. Still some tiny unanswered questions, but whatever... Here's a timeline (kind of) of what happened and the story behind this jumbled confusion (Spoiler Alert.... not really?):
Azami (the original Medusa lady) has a child with a boy, Tsukihiko. Their child Shion had a child, Marry. Both Shion and Marry ended up going to the world Azami created because they died. To save her granddaughter, Azami used her power to free Marry from that world. Marry then goes back into the original world.
The Tateyama couple are researching about the truth about the story of the "monster" and are figuring some things about about the serpent and their power. They adopted three kids (Shuya, Seto, and Kido) since they have this power. Unfortunately, the Tateyama couple dies. They are sent to the "Snake World". That is where Tateyama Kenjiro gains his snake. Kenjiro makes is out of that world and now he desires to see his wife. The snake hears his wish, and decides to work towards it so he can live forever.
Tateyama Ayano finds out that her parents are researching the truth about the "monster" story. She also finds out that her dad appears to hold the power written in her mother's dairy. Ayano confronts her possessed father (the snake) and ruins his plan by separating herself from the real world and entering the "Snake World". Without the final snake, Kenjiro's snake is unable to use Marry to create a new world and repeat his life (to live forever).
Ene (Takane) sees her crush, Haruka, become really sick and is sent to the hospital. She goes back to school after her visit at the hospital to get Haruka's school bag. At school, Kenjiro's snake ambushes her and steal her body to use as a sacrifice. He also attacks Haruka and puts a snake in both Takane and Haruka's body. Takane's spirit turned into Ene and Haruka's spirit got trapped in "Snake World" while his snake goes to the real world to grant Haruka's wish which is to "play more with his friends".
Shintaro is shuts himself in his home because he blames himself for Ayano's death. Ene crawls into his life. He constantly have these dreams about a past he can't remember. These dreams are caused by Shintaro's snake and are about the "repeats" that Kenjiro's snake has done. Shintaro meets Kido, Shuya, Seto, Marry, and his sister, Momo. They slowly figure each other's past to connect some pieces they had to reveal that Kenjiro's snake is up to no good. Shintaro needed to know the "repeated" past to he uses the scissors to stab himself. That way he would "die" and go into "Snake World". He brings Ayano out of "Snake World". Ayano uses her powers (project emotions into other people's minds) to stop Marry from restarting the whole timeline.
THE END. Yes their are unanswered questions, but I assume that the answers are in the novels or something. (Who's Marry's dad? Don't tell me that there was a incest! O.O)
